Penguin Bio-Wheel 150 Filter

Perfect for freshwater or marine aquariums. The new Bio-Wheel design is 50% larger than on older models and is the ideal culture site for the growth of beneficial bacteria responsible for biological filtration. Also features a two-piece hood for flip-top filter cartridge access and an adjustable mid-level intake extension tube for total water circulation. Molded-in slot for adding a second filter cartridge.

Features three stages of filtration to maintain a clean, healthy aquatic environment. First, the Penguin filter cartridge mechanically traps dirt and debris. Second, the premium activated carbon removes odors, discoloration, and impurities. Lastly, the extra-large Bio-Wheel eliminates toxic ammonia and nitrite on contact before returning the water back to the aquarium.

Rated at 150 gallons per hour for tanks up to 30 gallons in volume. Each filter measures approximately 7-3/4" x 5" x 6-3/4" and extends 3-1/2" behind tank. Includes extension tubes up to 12" tank depth. One Rite-Size B-cartridge included. 120 VAC, 60 Hz operation. UL listed. Made in the USA.
