Turtle Tuff splashproof halogen lamps are designed for all aquatic turtle aquarium setups where humidity or accidental water splashing could cause a regular heat lamp to fail and/or shatter. Heavy-duty lamp is for use with all type of aquatic turtles or other water based terrarium animals. Average 2500 hour bulb life. Makes animals' colors appear richer. 120 Volt, 60 Hertz operation.

Instructions: For use in a reptile hood or clamp lamp fixture only. Make sure the hood or clamp lamp has a ceramic fixture base for the halogen lamp to scrwew into. (Not for use with plastic fixtures.) Only operate lamp 8-12 hours per day, giving your animals an appropriate "photoperiod". Approximately 4-7/8" diameter x 5-1/4". 1260 lumens.
