Hermit Crab Gravel

This special, long lasting gravel was developed just for hermit crabs. It is coated and contains natural zeolites and bromilites to help control odors and absorb ammonia.

To use this gravel, cover the bottom of your tank so that it is at least as deep as the height of your hermit crab. This provides the opportunity for your crabs to do their necessary molting. The general rule of thumb is 1 to 1-1/2 pounds of gravel for every gallon of tank capacity.
