Reptile Xtra Anti-Bacteria Pellets for Water Turtles & Aquatic AmphibiansFormulated for use with all freshwater turtles and aquatic amphibians such as newts, axolotls, diving frogs (Xenopus), sirens and mudpuppies. Promotes good health by aiding in the control of internal bacterial infections, such as systemic shell rot, enteritis, septicemia, kidney disease, respiratory distress and eye infection, and aids in the healing of external cuts, sores, and abrasions. Also aids in the control of coccidiosis. 4.5 ounces (127 grams) per jar.
Directions: Gently spread pellets over the water surface allowing the food to float. Feed the pellets exclusively, daily for 2 weeks. Allow your pet to consume as much of the medicated pellets as they want during feeding time. Do not use other foods during treatment period. Repeat treatment of signs of illness are still present in your pet, or consult a veterinarian. Repeat whenever a new pet is added to your home. To treat for both bacteria and parasites, use the anti-bacteria formulation first followed by the anti-parasite formulation. Not recommended as a daily diet after treatment.
