Imagine Bio3 Cartridges for Emperor Filters

Created by the original designers of the Whisper cartridges, these cartridges offer superior 3-stage filtration for the Marineland Emperor 280 and 400 Bio-Wheel Filters.

Stage 1: Mechanical Two layers of polyester floss filter out suspended particles.

Stage 2: Chemical Super-activated carbon removes many dissolved contaminants and discoloration from the water. Unlike the standard Whisper cartridges, the carbon has been evenly distributed throughout this cartridge. There is no Tea Bag effect.

Stage 3: Biological The blue biological sponge allows beneficial aerobic bacteria to colonize. They remove contaminants like ammonia and nitrites, which could kill fish if left unchecked. Sponge is not tossed out with each cartridge change, so the tank chemistry remains more stable.

Each package contains (1) reusable filter cartridge frame, (1) blue biological sponge, and (3, 4 or 6) floss bags with individual carbon chambers.
