Description

The Emperor 400 Pro Series Filter is designed specifically for the big tanks. It offers high end power and performance with unparalleled multi-stage filtration. Features a revolutionary two pump design . The Flow Pump is fully adjustable to allow for feeding while the Bio-Pump continues to power the Bio-Wheels with oxygen-rich water. Two spray bars feed the Bio-Wheels to deliver state-of-the-art classic wet/dry biological filtration. Provides mechanical filtration to screen out dirt and debris, chemical filtration to remove dissolved organic compounds, and biological filtration to eliminate toxic ammonia and nitrite on contact.

Easy to start - just fill the filtering chamber halfway with tank water and plug it in. Includes two ready-to-use heavy-duty Emperor filter cartridge which are packed with the highest quality activated carbon there is. Cartridges slide easily into the filter and both mechanically and chemically removes waste, colors, and smell. No messy bags, sponges, or assembly required. Refillable media containers (included) hold an additional 4 ounces of filtering material.

Made in the USA. U/L listed. Operates on 120 V-60 Hz AC, using 0.16A of current. Unit measures approximately 15" wide (make sure that your aquarium hood has a cutout this wide for the filter to set into) x 10" deep x 7-1/2" front to back. Filter tube extends approximately 7" down into the tank. A 13" extension tube is included with the filter and can be trimmed to the desired length. Use additional extension tubes for reaching greater depths. Filter is rated at 400 gallons per hour. Excellent for large aquariums (40 gallons up to 90 Gallons).
