Earl was conceived in the back of an old pickup truck in Memphis. A legend in his own mind, he overcame his humble beginnings to bask in the glory of his alter ego Earlvis.

Now semi-retired from his nightclub gigs, he runs a small honky-tonk joint in Florida where Earlvis sightings are occasionally reported.
